Drawers, No Storage Or An Ottoman?

Choose The Mattress Size First
Small Single: 75 × 190 cm. Single: 90 × 190 cm. Small Double: 120 × 190 cm. Double: 135 × 190 cm. King: 150 × 200 cm. Super King: 180 × 200 cm. These are standard UK mattress dimensions. Winged divan designs add 15 cm to the standard width, and divans with an attached footboard add 15 cm to the standard length. Use the product’s overall dimensions when planning your room.

Small Single and Single divans offer no storage, two drawers on the left side or two on the right side. From Small Double upwards, you can also choose two foot-end drawers or four drawers. Any two-drawer layout is £59.99 before discount; four drawers are £99.99 before discount.
Measure The Room And The Delivery Route
- Check the chosen product's overall width and length, including wings and footboard.
- Mark the bed footprint on the floor. Open wardrobe doors and leave room to walk around the bed.
- Allow space for the drawers to open fully, or for the selected ottoman lift to operate.
- Measure headboard height against windows, sockets and wall lights.
- Check doorway widths, stair turns, landing space and ceiling height. Ask for package dimensions before ordering if access is tight.
Do not rely on mattress size alone. If a product does not list a measurement you need, ask us to confirm it before ordering.
Choose Your Headboard And Fabric
A plain headboard works well with patterned bedding. Buttoned upholstery adds detail, while winged styles give the bed a more framed appearance. Taller headboards make more of the wall behind the bed, but also need more delivery clearance.
Selected divan designs include a free 24″ headboard on wooden mounting legs. The upholstered panel measures 61 cm high; the wooden legs are additional. The 54″ floorstanding option measures 137.2 cm from the floor to the top. Zara Wing, Chesterfield Wing and Merlin are available with the 54″ headboard only. Compare The Complete Bed Price
On Solenne, Aurelia, Ibex Plus and Zara Wing With Footboard, the attached footboard is already included in the main bed price. It is not an optional add-on.
Compare the same mattress size, headboard, fabric and storage configuration. Check whether the price includes a mattress, then add any assembly and postcode charges. A low starting price is useful only when you know which configuration it buys.

Keep Your Mattress Or Add A New One?
If your current mattress is in suitable condition, check that its UK size matches the bed and that the manufacturer permits the selected base. If you are replacing it, compare the support, feel and care requirements in our mattress collection. Mattress choice changes comfort; a taller headboard does not change mattress support.

Practical Divan Buying Questions
Does a divan bed include a mattress?
The bed-frame listings in this range do not include a mattress unless expressly stated. You can add a mattress separately using the available options.
Can I choose which side the drawers are on?
Where offered, select the left- or right-side configuration on the product page. Confirm the side convention with our team if you are unsure, and check that furniture will not obstruct the drawers.
Will a King divan fit my existing King mattress?
Check the actual dimensions and base compatibility of your mattress. A standard UK King mattress is 150 × 200 cm, but overseas sizes and some specialist mattresses differ.
Are four drawers always better than two?
Only if you can reach and open them. Two accessible drawers may be more practical than four blocked by bedside tables or a wall.
Can I see fabrics before buying?
Yes. Order fabric samples and compare them in the room where the bed will go. Screen settings and lighting can change how a colour looks.
Can I visit a showroom?
